changedGuilds of Mountgate – Update v0.2.1.0today's update is another important step towards making Guilds of Mountgate feel smoother and more polished during everyday gameplay. While this isn't a content-heavy update, it significantly improves the overall user experience and lays the groundwork for future features.
changedGuilds of Mountgate – Update v0.2.1.0The biggest change is the complete overhaul of the user interface. The entire layout now uses a canvas-based system, allowing the game to scale much more reliably across different resolutions and window sizes. This should eliminate many of the UI inconsistencies that occurred when resizing the game window.
addedGuilds of Mountgate – Update v0.2.1.0We've also focused on making active gameplay more comfortable. While gathering or processing resources, you can now switch tools directly from the top bar without interrupting your activity. Fishing has also received its own bait selector, making it much easier to switch between different bait types. In addition, active tasks now feature a dedicated Stop button directly inside the activity button.
addedGuilds of Mountgate – Update v0.2.1.0The game's economy and progression have also been rebalanced. Crafting and Smithing recipes now require more resources overall, while repairing equipment has become considerably cheaper than crafting entirely new items. Cooking recipes have received a similar balancing pass to better reflect the value of prepared meals.
changedGuilds of Mountgate – Update v0.2.1.0As always, this update also includes several bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, including a more reliable "Last Loot" system, fixes for missing sound effects and floating texts, and corrections to the death screen.
changedGuilds of Mountgate – Update v0.2.1.0Some UI elements may appear slightly blurry in the Steam version when playing in windowed mode . This issue does not currently affect the standalone browser version or fullscreen mode. We are aware of the problem and are actively working on a fix as soon as possible.

Known Issue:
Some UI elements may appear slightly blurry in the Steam version when playing in windowed mode. This issue does not currently affect the standalone browser version or fullscreen mode. We are aware of the problem and are actively working on a fix as soon as possible.
Changing your bait while fishing does not currently refresh the displayed bait status immediately. However, the newly selected bait and all of its bonuses are applied correctly in the background. This is a visual issue only and will be fixed in an upcoming update.
