< Exploration System Overhaul >

I have completely overhauled the map and exploration systems.

You can now preview the map during the mission review stage and examine routes in advance based on the positions of objects.

You can also choose an exploration plan that passes through campsites more often for a safer run, or one that passes through more treasure chests to secure additional resources.

The sub-mission system is currently disabled. After reviewing feedback on the new map and exploration structure, I will decide what kind of sub-missions would be the most interesting going forward.

< Added Enemy Detail View >

Many players said that it was difficult to plan strategically without being able to see enemy intent clearly.

I also considered adding a simplified intent indicator above enemies or below the action timeline, but decided against it because many enemies act twice in a single turn.

Instead, I added a detailed view that lets you check each enemy’s skill list, usage conditions, and effects. I expect this to help players assess combat situations more accurately and respond accordingly.

< Added >

  • Added an option to skip the tutorial and opening.

  • Added card type text below card names.

  • Added help tooltips to the mission window.

  • Added a new main quest that can be started at level 1.

  • Card Crafting is unlocked after completing that main quest, along with a Spelldust reward.

< Fixes >

  • Fixed a bug where position-targeted skills ignored Stealth.

  • Fixed an issue where turns could end while another window was open or while waiting for an action.

  • Fixed an issue where the description for Holy Fire Manifestation was not displayed in some languages.

  • Fixed an issue where stat values with no bonus were shown in green.

  • Fixed incorrect interaction text.

  • Fixed an issue where multiple trinkets sharing the same cooldown would not trigger simultaneously when equipped together.

< Balance Adjustments >

  • Opening treasure chests and camping no longer require an Exploration Kit.

  • The price of the Exploration Kit has been increased to 50 gold.

  • Holy Water has been removed, and all interaction-related tools have been consolidated into the Exploration Kit.

  • Rewards from interaction objects have been improved, and failure penalties have been made more severe.

  • Card Crafting costs have been reduced by up to about 30%.

  • Mimic Books and Mimic Chests now provide the same rewards as their original object types.

  • Corrupted Golem’s HP has been reduced by 15%, and the amount of Barrier it gains has been reduced by 30%.

< Changes and Improvements >

  • Monster HP in the tutorial has been reduced by 50%.

  • Improved gamepad navigation in the Options, Trinket Shop, and Expedition Preparation screens.

  • Reduced dialogue sound effect volume by 40%.

  • Card preview values no longer react to invalid targets.

  • Improved tooltip descriptions for Thorn, Reflect, Stealth, and DOT to make them clearer.

  • A notification is now shown in the top-right corner of the screen when the game autosaves.

  • You can now move left and right and interact using the mouse. The game has been improved so that it can be played without major issues using only a mouse.

  • Most popup windows can now be closed by clicking outside the window.

  • When using a gamepad, buff tooltip positions in the combat detail view have been moved to the left.

  • Increased trap detection range.

  • Disarming traps no longer requires tools.

  • When using tools to open chests or disarm traps, you no longer need to select a specific character.

  • The item looting window now shows how much gold and Spelldust you obtained.

  • When replacing a consumable, the description of the currently equipped consumable is now displayed.

  • On gamepad, map area selection has been changed from a virtual cursor system to a node selection system.

  • Text size in the interaction window has been increased by about 20%.

  • The effects for both success and failure are now always displayed for interactions.

Due to major changes to the quest data and map structure, previous save files can no longer be used to continue playing.

I made efforts to preserve compatibility with existing saves, but was unable to do so in a stable and reliable way.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

To help returning players get back in more quickly, the Prologue Skip feature is available.
