Good afternoon Adventurers!
We’ve been cooking up a new build thanks to everyone who has been reporting bugs and sharing feedback. These changes have been merged from our developer build, we have fixed many more issues, however, not all of them could be brought over into the demo build. Since we have been working around the clock squashing as many bugs as we can while also focusing on improvements we can make specifically for the demo. There’s still under a week left to jump in and play; as a reminder the demo will remain open until March 16th at 10 AM EST.
Today’s update addresses several bug fixes from our latest build. As mentioned above, these changes have been merged from our development build. There are still additional fixes that didn’t make it into this demo update, but they have already been resolved on our end. Many of these changes are the direct result of community feedback and reports. Check below to see what's been done in this patch:
Gameplay
Updated some Altar requirements
Updated several quest names
Improved base Guardian navigation
Fixed an issue where the Windseer would stop moving after being fast traveled to
Fixed an issue where larger Guardians could cause interaction failures due to the player being too far off the ground
Guardians will no longer attempt to deliver resources to ghost structures unless they are delivering the materials needed to construct them
Building
Improved wall to floor alignment
Added roof peak structures
Added structure rotation snapping. Walls and other structures will attempt to align themselves with floor edges automatically.This feature can be toggled off with the “U” key.
Improvements to floor pieces snapping to ship hulls
Improved stair placement
UI / Visual
Updated several Guardian icons
Updated several structure icons
Fixed an issue where sign text would fail to load for clients
Fixed an issue where incorrect craftable amounts were being displayed
Inventory & Crafting
Fixed issues with quick transferring items into storage
Fixed an issue where pending crafts were not persisting between play sessions
Fixed an issue where items could be crafted for free once one existed in the player’s inventory
Fixed an issue where items dropped from structures were not properly dropping
Guardian Systems
Guardians now prioritize putting items in storage with activated filters
Fixed an issue where Guardian-generated fuel items (heat, cold, mana, and electricity) could be removed from fuel slots
