changedAfter a long break, we're back with another Greyvale Rivalry status update. If you regularly read our status updates, you may know that we took a break from Greyvale to speed up the animation rendering process for The Grey Dream. Since then, we have achieved a lot, and we have also grown tired of working on the same scenes for a couple of weeks. So, last week, we resumed the development cycle of Greyvale to have some fun. During this time, we also realised that working on two games prevented us from burning out, as the change of pace gave us a fresh start. It may sound strange, but we wanted to share how it made us feel.
addedSo, what's new?
changed9th Scene: We were wondering whether to put this one as a separate scene since it's very intertwined with the 10th scene, but since it has a change of scenery, we've decided to separate it. Total render count: 38
changed10th Scene: It's finished! While working on it, we noticed a terrible mistake that we had made with one of the scenes, which would affect this one. We're glad we caught it early, as it didn't cause us to fall behind. Total render count: 78
changed11th Scene: This is our latest scene at the moment. We're still working on it, which will probably keep us occupied for the next few days. As well as the static renders, we thought a short cinematic might suit the scene. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but it looks very likely. It's still a WIP scene, but to give a render count, it would be around 130-150
addedLast thing, we thought adding some effects to football scenes could be cool. Let us know what you think about them.
