Greenfeet Haven changes
It's been a month since the last progress report. Much has been accomplished since then!
Exploration
The map is now hidden at first. You will have to send greenfeet out on exploration missions to reveal more and more of it. Each explored zone will yield its own surprises: new biomes, new resources, encounters... The system is now working and only requires more content to be added in the coming weeks.
Feedback and visual improvements
Great efforts were put into the visual aspect of the game to make it feel more credible, alive, and dynamic.
Discovering a new item now produces a visual notification.
Greenfeet moving through plants will make them bounce.
Greenfeet will now get close to items they are interacting with, thanks to the new "intra-tile" movement system.
Early game content
The first technological tier of the game is playable and will be present in the alpha build. This is the phase of the game where your greenfeet slowly move from bare survival to having a small settlement with their basic needs addressed. I won't expand too much on the content, as it is one key feature of the game to discover things by yourself.
Bug fixes
I've finally started fixing all the bug reports that have accumulated over the past few weeks.
FIXED
The first right-click was not being registered.
FIXED
Discovery icons no longer stack in an unreadable way.

FIXED
It was possible to create zones and place jobs in an unexplored area.
FIXED
Sometimes drop spots would disappear if they were filled.
What's next?
I'm still working hard to produce an alpha build by the end of October. To get access when it is ready, simply join the Discord server and follow the instructions there.
Stay tuned for more updates, and don't forget to wishlist Greenfeet Haven on Steam!
