Granvir: Zero Front changes
This week's update introduces a new mobility type with hybrid hover legs. Hover legs can swap between regular movement and hover movement allowing them to reach higher speeds at the loss of control. Hover movement is generally more mobile but has far less control over momentum. Taking hits and firing weapons will push your Granvir while hovering, hampering a gap close or allowing for a rapid advance to the rear. The new legs have little airborne control and no ability to descend but they can slow their descent and slowly maneuver while airborne.
Let me know what you like (and dislike) about the new hover movement. I'll be looking to add more hybrid, hover-only, airborne and ground type hover mobility options in future updates.
2.35.0
Major Features
Added the MP/SB02 Dandelion, a T4 heavily armored leg option with toggleable high speed ground hover capabilities.
Added the MP/BB04 Butterfly, a T3 armored leg option with toggleable high speed ground hover capabilities.
Minor Features
Added bronze, silver and gold tinting to each campaign depending on the highest difficulty it has been completed at.
Added bronze, silver and gold tinting to each difficulty corresponding to if they have been completed yet.
Added tracking for the highest difficulty of each campaign completion per pilot.
Added bronze, silver and gold tinting to each pilot based on the highest difficulty the campaign has been completed on. Since these are new challenges that have not previously been tracked they will all appear as uncompleted.
Adjusted the idle pose of upright legs.
Increased the acceleration force of horse legs.
Increased the strength of the "low speed boost" that gets legs moving from stationary to a walking speed quickly to help further distinguish legs from hover and tank movement.
Improved foot placement when landing after dashes and jumps.
Reduced the magnitude and duration of recoil so high firerate weapons disrupt themselves less.
Reduced the screenshake and recoil on the MN01 Perferator to better accommodate its higher firerate.
Fixes
Fixed certain armatures intended to have strong punches dealing too little damage.
Fixed flamethrower weapons having significantly higher DPS than intended.
Fixed certain weapons getting stuck aiming up into the air when firing.
Fixed grapples not breaking and sometimes moving the user at extreme speeds when hitting enemy small vehicles.
