Granvir: Zero Front changes
This week's update introduces 2 new enemy types to add some extra enemy variety. Each new enemies has variants to appear across all escalation levels. Commanders will improve the targeting speed of their nearby allies. Marksmen will fire with far more accuracy and continue to track their target while firing.
A big wave of adjustments have also been made to address recent new player feedback. The mech builder has been further improved to make it easier to use. The gap between tier 1 and tier 2 weapons has also reduced to match the gap between other tiers to ease the early game difficulty curve and increase the window to reach tier 2.
If you have been experiencing crashes recently please let me know if they continue. This update also moved to a newer engine version which should have some stability fixes.
2.33.0
Major Features
Added the Marksman Granvir enemy archetype. Marksmen are fast rifle wielding enemies with superior aim. Marksmen will continue to track your position up until firing and will track at an improved speed while firing. Marksmen are distinguished by their fully red paint scheme.
Added the Commander Granvir enemy archetype. Commanders are back line enemies that improve the effectiveness of nearby allies. Allies near a commander will complete targeting 25% faster. Commanders are distinguished by their red and gold paint scheme and periodic red pulse when boosting the performance of allies.
Minor Features
Added the TB04, and TB05 Grandine armatures, T2, T3 and T4 lightweight accuracy oriented armatures.
Added the AR01 Bombard, a T4 indirect fire cannon with extreme range and large AoE.
Increased the DPS weighting of Tier 1 to match the gap between other tiers and lower the urgency of acquiring T2 weaponry.
Updated engine version to attempt resolve engine level errors causing crashes. An in-mission benchmark also showed a 15% FPS improvement.
Added the porter to the Millennium Horizon Forest Settlement region.
Improved the clarity of the manufactorium towers being destroyed.
Added a setting for toggling damage numbers on and off.
Removed the road designation of the Campaign 3 Home Base testing area environment to prevent confusion about part performance.
Increased the size of the crushzone of infantry to be larger than their visuals.
Removed infantry spawns from village liberations so you are never required to kill them.
Removed the transfer parts button and improved the mech builder to handle parts in inventory that are not equipped.
Parts in the ship builder are now sorted by rarity and then alphabetically if rarity is the same.
Added a toggle for viewing incompatible parts for the selected port in the mech builder. Selecting an incompatible part will select a compatible port and install if that port is empty.
Changed the mech builder part stat display to use two columns to make more room for viewing your build.
