Granvir changes
This week's update introduces a wave of low tier hovers and equips Millennium Company Granvirs with them. Enemy hover Granvirs are extremely quick and relatively weak but are equipped with a powerful torso cannon. The new hovering enemies will appear at escalation 8 and above in the Millennium Front and Millennium Eclipse campaigns.
2.37.0
Major Features
Added the HV/HT01 and HV/HT02 Barnacle, a tier 1 and tier 2 hover mobility platform with a small durability boost.
Added the HV/HT03 Starfish, a tier 3 hover mobility platform with a small durability boost and increased agility over its lower tier variants.
Added the TS/PZ01/G and TS/PZ02/G Daneweller, a tier 2 and tier 3 torso with a heavy cannon, no side ports and an auxiliary ammo efficient coaxial cannon.
Added new hover Granvirs to Millennium Horizon and Millennium Eclipse. Hover Granvir are extremely fast, armed with a heavy torso gun and relatively weak compared to other Granvir.
Minor Features
Improved the orbiting enemy's ability to eventually get out from behind larger sight obstructions.
Added the custom difficulty setting Full Loot. This causes the loot table to function the same as it does in New Campaign+ where the loot level is at maximum but the band size is very large.
Added the custom difficulty setting Loot Level Boost. This increases the loot level up to the maximum for the campaign.
Adjusted Millennium Front and Millennium Eclipse New Campaign+ loot to use the full table instead of just items close to the maximum.
Adjusted New Campaign+ loot boosts (from things like shops and quality component crates) to increase the lowest possible loot quality since the loot level is already at maximum.
Reduced the impact momentum applied to hovering Granvir based on their speed in the impact direction. An impact received at speed 500 in the direction of the impact will have 50% strength. An impact received at speed 2000 will have 20% strength. Impact force will never be fully reduced and is unchanged from stationary. Hovers are still capable of exceeding their top speed using recoil but to less of an extreme.
Reduced the credit reward for destroying Granvir in Millennium Eclipse by 25%, 30% and 40% on Normal, Hard and Extreme.
Fixes
Fixed hovers not utilizing partial direction input from thumbsticks.
