Here is some new content and fixes for ya...
Crash Recovery Beta:
With V1 now in the game, upon rejoining a lobby where you crashed in, you will reload with your bait, items and location saved. Given that this feature is in beta, there may still be a few issues that I have not yet seen. I wanted to get this released as soon as possible though since loosing all of your items is never a good time. Please let me know if you encounter any issues with this feature so I can get them fixed.
Changes and Polish:
Massively Buffed Bait Crate, Can now contain Chunks of meat and even corpses of monsters.
Refactored all of the bait pictures in the tacklebox and added new colors based on how good a bait is
Night time is no longer pitch black
Day time ambience sounds now account for entering caves and the current weather
Adjusted the position of the trader on the jungle map to help prevent fish from not selling correctly
Bait is no longer saved when hardcore mode is enabled. This change is to help preserve the spirit of hardcore mode with it intended on being perma death. To accompany this change, the chanes of catching a legendary fish is boosted by another 15% when hardcore mode is enabled and a further 15% when fishing in the legendary circle (the blue electricity under the birds)
Removed the yeti until he can get reworked (hes trolling rn)
Updated the ESC menu UI to match the new style.
Updated the perk selection UI
Updated Baby Penguin Run animation
Reduced number of triangles by half on all maps to aid in performance
Lots of optimizations targeting cpu usage
Fixed a bug where the mother crab would target players who are in the cabin and the door is closed
Fixed a bug where the grabber crabs idle animation could freeze and play no animation
Fixed a bug where the grabber crab could get stuck in the cabin if you closed the door behind it
Fixed a bug where the snakes hiss could be heard from very far away
Fixed a bug where picking up the smoker while your current inventory slot was a fish would cause your fishy to go to the shadow realm
Fixed a bug where a fish that was fully smoked would say it was rotting when it was not
Fixed a bug where the fish searing sound effect would play when smoking a fish
FIxed a bug where the smoked or rotting visual effects on a fish would not update after the rot tick fired
Fixed a bug where the bait carepackge perk would sometimes not spawn extra bait in the cabin when loading into a level
Fixed a bug where gambling then cooking a fish would cause the wrong point value to be assigned to the fish
Fixed an issue where the trader would sell fish that the player had nearby and had not intended on selling
Fixed several issues that could cause a fishes point value to have the incorrect value
Fixed a bug that made Greater Amberjack never bite.
Fixed an issue where the FIsh values were sliding off of the fish icon UI on ultra-wide monitors.
Fixed a bug where the server would send duplicate chat messages
Fixed a bug where a server entry would always say the lobby had a max
