Repeated intro
Hello Anglers! Please make room in the boat for this large update! This patch aims to address feedback around early game by introducing a pair of features to increase engagement and flavour, while retaining a ‘true idle’ experience and ensuring they remain optional should you wish to engage more or less. Both the Angler’s Codex and Daily Holidays should unlock about 1 hour into gameplay via early game quests.

Gods of Angling changes
In addition to these two new systems, the guilds are ready to let you in as a member by adding 8 new playable races and 11 item sets pertaining to each guild!
V0.7.0 Patch Notes
Angler’s Codex – Help the guilds uncover the mysteries of the codex!
Daily Holidays – Celebrate daily holidays with each group of denizens of the realm!
New Playable Races (Revered with a Guild), bringing the number of Race x Class combinations up to 320!!
Automatons, Deepborn, Tigerfolk, Djinns, Aristocrats, Ogres, Sea Elves and Treants.
There are new friends associated with each race x class combination. With so many new friends, you’ll now meet them twice as often.
Item Sets (Exalted with a Guild) – Guilds will award you an Item Set upon reaching Exalted status with each guild. I wonder what they can do?
Sleep:
Heroes who aren’t tired won’t sleep!
[Dev Note: In practicality, heroes with more than 30 SLP will not fall asleep, regardless of the time. This means that heroes created after 1AM, or heroes loaded for the first time very late in the day are likely to pull all-nighters and have a short nap the next day, but they won’t be locked in a full night sleep cycle immediately. This should help address concerns around this system. Please share your thoughts in the forums if you have additional feedback! Thanks.]
Game Balance:
Slightly increased the damage of the Shaman, Druid, Monk level 1 starting skills
Slightly increased the mana cost of the Mage lvl1 Fireball skill
Fixes:
Fixed a bug which caused potions to increase stats by a flat amount rather than by a %
Buffs which previously persisted through combat now also persist through sleep, death or reloading the game
Improved the tooltip area detection for equippable items in the Inventory
Renamed the Fishfolk Potion of Balance to Potion of Serendipity
The Elixir of Insight which awards CON has been appropriately renamed to Elixir of Fortitude
Corrected a visual issue with the sell price of junk items
Light cleanup of text associated with consumables and expeditions
Fixed a bug where opening friend biographies while filtered by New would open the biography for the wrong friend
Fixed an issue where racial skills did not work properly on newly created characters that had never been loaded
