V1.0.0 Patch Notes
To celebrate the release of v1.0.0 and leaving Early Access!
All Skills and Attacks now have Skill Effects
Skill Effects can be toggled on/off in the Settings Menu
Added 5 New Pets available in 5 New Biomes
Doubled the number of Merchants that exist
Many new Themes have been added!
The Special Thanks tab of the About section has been updated to thank Early Access contributors
2 new Combat Quests have been added
Artifacts
A new item class called an Artifact has been introduced. Artifacts are account wide items intended to make creating new heroes less of a burden. Artifacts are presently awarded the first time you hit Level 100 with a class or the first time you reach Exalted with a Guild. (COUPON = WHOISGOD)
The Level 100 Artifacts increase Account-wide EXP earned by 20%. These Artifacts can stack.
The Exalted Guild Artifacts passively increase Account-wide power, similar to the bonuses provided by potions or elixirs, with that Guild.
Leaderboards
The Global Derby is also now fully visible at https://godsofangling.com/derby/, in addition to in-game
“Lunker Watch” has been added, which is a live feed of heavy catches by all Anglers globally. It is viewable in-game, or at https://godsofangling.com/lunker-watch/
The in-game Leaderboard Pane can be toggled between the Global Derby, the Lunker Watch, and the Offline Guild Derby.
The Online Derbies now include the flag from the Anglers country of origin. It is truly Global!
If you wish, this functionality can be disabled in the Settings Menu under Visibility -> Flags.
DLC
The Launch Edition DLC is Now Available! It includes the Gladiator & Bard Classes, the Minotaur and Ravenfolk races, and several new Themes. Thank you for your support!

Game Balance
Reduced the effectiveness of stacking Automation, Trader and Fishfolk Elixirs. They now have diminishing returns in high numbers.
The EXP curve for Heroes above Level 100 has been adjusted. This may result in a one-time level change for heroes who are presently above Level 100. Sorry about that!
Significantly reduced the high-level potency of the Tuskarr Racial Skill (“Natural Angler”) as it was scaling out of hand at high levels combined with strong legendary fishing rods
Very minor adjustments have been made to some of the attribute bonuses from cooking ingredients
Clarified in the skill sub description that Overkill (Thief Level 30) is always a Critical Strike
Increased the power of the effect of the Djinn “Magic of the Lamp” racial buff.
Friends
You can now offer Gifts to modify your Best Friend, Rival, or Love Interest by offering them a specific gift when they are present. These Gifts can be earned via Matchmaker Expeditions, or via the Exalted with The Matchmakers Quest.
Inventory Adjustments
The Inventory now contains an alternative view type called “Table” View, which shows your inventory in a table. You can choose Classic View or Table View, whichever you find more suitable.
There is now a Local Storage that functions like an Archive
Consumables now stack in your Inventory
You can now Search using the Text Search within your Inventory
General & Misc
Racial skills that were previously too vague have additional clarifying information added to them.
Updated Fish encounter weightings to use a more granular data type so that smaller changes would not get rounded up/down. Ie - drinking a single elixir of serendipity will always have an effect, even if ‘trivially’ small
Themes are now persisted per Hero, rather than Account wide, so you can customize your Theme selection for each Hero you have
Fixed a bug which could cause the game flow to get stuck if you rapidly drank many consumables in quick succession
Non-Turn Actions (like interacting with the Merchant, starting an Expedition, etc) are now instant and not time-gated like a Turn
Added filters to the Friends Archive, to help you more easily find specific Friends
Friends visiting from other save files now use their proper Journal (Biography & Stats) Data, rather than generic data
Usage of Custom Portraits on Heroes has been extended to situations when Friends visit from other save files
Bug Fixes
Fixed a few bugs which will make the Merchant more reliably purchase your items, particularly if your Inventory state changed while the Merchant was already present
Fixed a rare issue where the next arrival Merchant could be have their name and portrait missing until they arrived
Fixed an issue where the Leaderboard pane could disappear for heroes that were Level 100 or higher
Fixed an issue where if you exited the game while sleeping, you would resume awake, but miss out on having any dreams
Fixed a bug where the scroll wheel could be used to scroll the Inventory out of bounds
Fixed a few issues with theme contrast in the Settings UI
Fixed a few visual where in certain situations pets could hide summoned companions while in combat
Fixed an issue where Vampire class Heroes could not equip Buff type skills
