addedThe Necromancer – master of minions and curses – is now available for all existing Races!
changedThe Skill System has been reworked, and all skills have been fully implemented! Players are now able to equip 3 Active Skills, 1 Passive Skill, and their Racial skill. You will only use equipped skills! Skills can still be viewed in the Skills Tab in the Hero Pane, but there is also a dedicated Skills Configuration UI which can be accessed from the Icon Bar or the Skills Tab.
changedSkill behaviour can be customized and controlled in the Skills Configuration UI.
changedGenerally speaking, combat has been drastically rebalanced around the usage of skills. Please feel free to provide feedback of any kind in the Discussion Forum.

The Necromancer – master of minions and curses – is now available for all existing Races!

Skill System is Implemented!

The Skill System has been reworked, and all skills have been fully implemented! Players are now able to equip 3 Active Skills, 1 Passive Skill, and their Racial skill. You will only use equipped skills! Skills can still be viewed in the Skills Tab in the Hero Pane, but there is also a dedicated Skills Configuration UI which can be accessed from the Icon Bar or the Skills Tab.

General Skill Updates

  • Your Mana Regen stat (RGN), based on your Wisdom, is now displayed in your Hero Stats

  • There is now a diary entry when learning a new skill

  • A few new quests have been added pertaining to Skills & Combat

Buffs & Debuffs

  • Hero buffs and debuffs are now visible in the Hero pane, underneath the EXP bar.

  • Enemy buffs and debuffs are now visible in the Actions pane, underneath the Fish HP bar.

Racial Skill Balance

  • Slightly increased the proc threshold for the Dragonborn Racial (“The Dovahkiin”)

  • Slightly reduced the proc chance for the Orc Racial (“Blackened Blood”)

  • The Human (The Chosen Ones), Dwarf (Stoneform), Elf (Lembas Bread) and Goblin (The Dealmakers) racials now apply additional buffs when they get used.

  • The Toadfolk racial (Strong Swimmer) now applies a visible buff

  • The Ratkin (Wandering Packrat) and Tuskarr (Natural Angler) Racials now scale with Hero Level, so they remain relevant past the early game.

Class Skill Balance

  • Mana (MP) is generally a more scarce resource than before

  • Healing skills, like the Cleric’s level 1 Heal spell, now scale based on your WIS.

Fish Balance

  • Slightly raised the attack and defense of all fish to keep pace with increased hero power from skills. Adjustments were higher or lower for a few specific cases.

Items

  • You can now find Exotic and Legendary tier scrolls which award a random class passive skill and a random racial passive skill respectively

Death

  • If you die too often, the angels will become worried about you and will try and help out…

Guilds

  • A new guild called The Matchmakers, which focuses on Friend interactions, now exists

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed the image for the Xiphias fish

  • Fixed a bug that would allow fish to be caught at the wrong rarity in extremely niche situations
