God Within VR – Closed Beta (1.0) Announcement
Adventurers,
After a full year of development, the 1.0 closed beta for God Within VR is now live! This update is effectively a ground-up overhaul of the game—level structure, combat feel, visuals, and systems have all been rebuilt or significantly upgraded. We’d love your feedback to help polish the launch build.
What’s in this beta
- Three large chapters (maps)new level layouts, exploration routes, and richer environmental storytelling.
Dozens of new weapons: expanded melee/ranged categories enabling diverse builds and playstyles.
Many new bosses & enemies: deeper movesets and multi-phase mechanics focused on observation and response.
Visual overhaul: lighting, VFX, materials, and post-processing rebuilt for a major fidelity boost.
Countless optimizations: memory/loading/FPS/interaction refinements for smoother combat and exploration.
We’ll ship frequent hotfixes and balance passes during the beta, iterating quickly based on your reports.
