Members of the dev team at Nine Dots studio will play GoD Factory: Wingmen this Friday to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Celebrating 10 years for GoD Factory: Wingmen is quite an achievement for us. Since then we’ve grown from a team of 6 to 30, developing two games in tandem while funding a third. None of that would have happened if we hadn’t made GoD Factory: Wingmen. While the game didn’t sell enough to be profitable, it taught us the skills and the resilience we needed to go through an even bigger challenge.
As a new addition to the studio, I digged some some behind-the-scenes info for you.
Phil, Outward's writer was hired thanks to his love for GoD Factory: Wingmen.
There used to be Wednesday nights during which the dev team was playing with the members of the community. We kept the gaming session as a core social and bounding experience at the studio with part of Friday’s afternoon dedicated to playing our games together. So this Friday it will be about playing with you GoD Factory: Wingmen.
What does GoD means, but I’ll keep this reveal for the livestream.
Nine Dots Studio wanted to create the best spaceship dogfighting game ever. After playing it, I can tell you it is excellent. I'll let you see by yourselves but I bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 just for the spaceship fights and GoD Factory: Wingmen is much better.
Steam's changed its requirement a lot and getting back the original files was an impossible task. Thanks a lot to our Lead Artist, Alex, for creating new art for the game so quickly.
