addedHalloween is right around the corner, and we’ve added a few spooky things into the game to get you into the spirit—or build the creepy haunted garden of your dreams (or both).
addedThere are four new creepy plants , a new type of fence , and a marker stone , and we’ve added a new vendor who will sell all these items, as well as other spooky items already in the game (jack o lanterns!). There will also be new hedges that match the different grass types , so you can build the night grass maze of your dreams (please show us)
added…and of course, a few more seasonal backpacks for you, as well as new fang types to complete your look!
addedCo-op UpdateIn mid/late October, it’ll head to the Preview Build for six weeks or so. We’re consciously having a longer time in Preview than our normal updates because, well, this is our first multiplayer game! We’ve also upgraded to a new version of Unity, so we’re very eager to hear from people with varied setups, wifi connections, friends around the world, and more, and want to give it time to make sure any potential issues can be ironed out. If you’re in our Discord, make sure to opt-in to the Preview Branch channels (this will link to Discord fyi) to share any of your thoughts!

Co-op Update
We’re still hard at work at co-op, and wanted to give you an update on timing.
We’re kicking off a small alpha test starting this week to start to really put the update through its paces. If you want to sign up, you can fill out the form HERE. We won’t be able to take everyone, but we will keep folks in mind for any playtesting in the future!

Once that’s done and we’re comfortable with how it runs, we’ll push it through to the main branch. Current plan is late Nov/early Dec, but we’re holding that date flexible in case we run into anything major.
