Hello and welcome to Gnomepunk's first progress report!

Gnomepunk changes
During these weeks of silence we've been working hard on creating many assets and programming game systems to bring the world of mischievous Gnomes to life. The game's art direction turned into a little more fantasy one, which suits the setting very well.
Today we'll show you two buildings. The first one is distillery - a place close to our Gnomes hearts. It's where the famous shroomshine is produced.
The second one is more down to earth. After getting drunk with the shroomshine it would be nice to get some sleep in a house. It's the one of the most basics ones, capable of housing a few Gnomes.
These screenshots should give you the idea of the atmosphere we're trying to achieve in the game.
The Gnomes and their way of life is also a very important part of creating Gnomepunk's unique world. The player, being the king, will be accompanied by a cast of colorful characters, one of them being Rikkob - a royal court jester. He's the most eerie character of them all, never taking off his masks and being very brutal towards kings enemies.
We've also made a ton of progress in the programming field. The game subsystems and AI are all coming together! We'll be sure to show them in action once we're satisfied with the results.
