GLADIMAKER : Auto Battle RPG changes
Hello, Gladiators!
The heat of the Colosseum is rising hotter than ever. On January 30 (KST), an upcoming demo update will introduce a brand-new combat system, “Fog of War,” along with various optimization and quality-of-life improvements.
1. Fog of War System
As battles grow longer, a dense fog will begin to cover the battlefield.
Damage Over Time: While inside the fog, both players and enemies take damage each turn.
- Debuff EffectsAs visibility worsens, both evasion and guard values for players and enemies are reduced every turn.
2. Equipment & Balance Adjustments
- Higher Enhancement CapThe maximum weapon enhancement level has been increased from level 3 to level 5.
- Equipment Distribution RebalanceThe balance of weapons and armor appearing on each floor has been reworked.
Combat Speed Optimization: The speed system has been adjusted to allow for more precise control and observation.
Previous 1x speed → 0.5x
Previous 2x speed → 1x
RANK 2 Unlock: The ForestMoon dividend event now triggers upon entering RANK 2.
3. Codex System & UI Improvements
- New Codex AddedA new codex system has been added to record collected weapons, gloves, and badges. Satisfy your collector’s instinct!
Real-Time Stat Notifications: Stat changes during combat are now displayed instantly as text, making battle situations easier to understand.
- Panel-Based UITicket and gold support events have been changed from dialog windows to a panel-based format.
- Simplified TutorialUnnecessary dialogue has been reduced so gladiators can jump into combat faster.
Check Equipment While Paused: When you pause during combat, you can now view both the player’s and enemies’ equipment, as well as their real-time evasion and guard chances!
4. Technical Optimization & Bug Fixes
- Build Size ReductionThrough optimization, the game size has been reduced from 4GB to under 1GB !
- Multilingual SupportThe game now supports Simplified Chinese and Japanese .
- Layout FixesFixed an issue where dialogue box sizes became awkward when changing languages.
- Stability ImprovementsResolved issues including rapid-click inventory bugs, duplicated sound playback in the preparation room, and Mac build encoding problems.
