GIMMIKO changes
Heeeeeeeey there Temple Guardians, Ika tip givers and honorary members of the Die Hard Support Squad!
Surely by now you’re all too familiar with GIMMIKO’s cast of characters! Three plucky heroes on a quest to slay the Jabberwock, and send it galumphing back to where it came from: shrine maiden Gimmiko, boring old doctor Merci and underworld soldier Zo…
…But they’re not the only ones who have it out for the Jabberwock, each with totally different fighting styles!! You can BECOME a dice, you can control the dice WITH TELEKINESIS, you can even SHOOT A GUN!!!
So today we’re introducing you to some of the new faces you’ll get to play as in GIMMIKO at launch starting with…
DIE HARD
An artificial supersoldier from a mysterious distant island... Can't get used to using dice as weapons, so she'll stick to using her trusty gun, Gunmetal Franky.
Die Hard's gun works by shooting bullets that contain gimmicks. Every time a bullet is shot, it'll contain a random gimmick from the one in slot 1 up to the slot # equal to the amount of remaining bullets.
*die hard screaming offscreen: IN ENGLISH, POINDEXTER!!!!!*
...Lower slots are more likely to activate!!! Now quit pointing that thing at me!!!
a-anyway, one last word of advice: try not to be too trigger happy!!! When that gun gets too heated it can… explode.
MIMIKO
An odd looking puppet that seems to move entirely on its own, clattering and giggling as it glides around... Why does she kinda look like Gimmiko?
You won't control Mimiko herself, but rather, a mysterious shadow that follows her around silently... However, only Mimiko can pick up and use dice!
Mimiko can also be tugged and swung around, dealing damage with anything she may be holding. Whip her around the stage with some high STR dice to deal massive damage!
you can still stomp the dice without Mimiko’s help which helps set up some sweet combos!!
ALPHA FOOTAGE
A mysterious little creature that smells kinda like an old person's pillow and feels kinda like a boiled egg... But it's just so cute!
Alpha can't hold dice in its soft and slippery paws. However, using the powerful electromagnet lodged inside its liver, it can cause every dice on the field to be thrown towards it, all at the same time! Rain gimmick chaos upon your enemies!
Be careful, though... It's very fragile…
the more dice, the more chaos!! as long as you can survive : ^ )
