changedGhost Janitors has officially left Early Access and is now fully launched. This major update introduces core gameplay systems, improved horror mechanics, massive localization support, and important stability fixes.
added⚠️ Gameplay & Core Systems • New Respawn System: When a player dies, a pentagram appears. Bring all ritual tools to the pentagram and begin the ritual to revive them. • Added mouse scroll inventory switching (CS-style item cycling). • New chase system visuals + redesigned chase audio. • New horror-focused head bob system. • Right-click zoom added. • Voice chat now remains active for 1 second after death — hear your friends scream. • When all players die, a black screen now appears to prevent the game feeling frozen. • General in-game audio volume slightly reduced for better balance. • Generator shutdown sound reduced. • Ghost jumpscare sound reduced. • City Lights Villa radio sound reduced. • Kick System added: Lobby hosts can now kick players, and kicked players cannot rejoin that lobby session.
added🎯 UI & Quality of Life • Technician perk now has a more detailed description. • Light protection indicator icon redesigned for better visibility. • Target/crosshair size increased (better visibility on 4K resolutions). • Tutorial (“How to Play”) expanded and clarified. • Post-processing adjustments for improved visual consistency. • Options menu improvements and refinements. • Added a dedicated button in the main menu for #GhostJanitorsChallenge .
