  • Gameplay

addedSeamless third person portals! Puzzle entrances now have smooth third person portals. The camera decouples from the player on portal approach, allowing the player and the camera to straddle a portal. The system is still a work in progress, but it's getting very close.
fixedPuzzle exits now apply appropriate rotation to the camera upon teleport. On portal approach, the camera would appear to change orientation if entering a portal system with any amount of rotation. Most puzzle exits have odd rotations. Now, the camera rotation is corrected on teleport. Seamless puzzle exits that allow for player/camera decoupling are not yet implemented. They are on the docket for the next portal pass.
addedAdded a smooth camera zoom. The camera no longer teleports instantly to first person, close cam and default cam distances.
changedUpdate 5 is under way! I'm back to focusing on early game improvements and I'm looking to use the portals for the game's story intro. Stay tuned!
