A Quick Note From the Team

First, we know things have been a bit quiet from us recently, and we want to acknowledge that. We’ve been heads down planning how to better support and understand our Steam players, and we’re committed to improving that communication moving forward.

Fixes & Improvements:

• Fixed a bug where No-Move and NMPZ games were not being counted toward the Ace achievement. Thanks to everyone who reported this!

• We’ve expanded the achievement list with a few new challenges for our free users. Enjoy!

What We’re Focusing On Next

For the rest of the year, we’re prioritizing bug fixes to make sure the Steam experience is smooth for everyone. No specific feature focus yet, just improvements to our most reported bugs.

Looking Ahead to 2026:

• Get to know our Steam community better.

We want to understand how you play, what you struggle with, and what you enjoy most.

• Improve the first-time player experience.

We’ll be investing in making GeoGuessr on Steam more welcoming and intuitive for beginners, lowering the barrier to getting started. This doesn’t mean we won’t continue building for our more experienced players, we believe that great experiences start at the beginning.

• Launch a Steam-Exclusive Discord Test Force.

We will be kicking off 2026 by creating a small Steam-exclusive Discord Test Force, where we’ll share early updates and involve you more directly in shaping the experience. More details after New Years. See you out there,
