Terra Mare

Hello operators,

I have been hard at work developing the next major update and the day is upon us! The next planet is here: Terra Mare.

Pipes

Terra Mare is a completely liquid planet which offers new challenges and new ways to build your factory. With the introduction of pipes, you can now utilize semi realistic fluid mechanics to expand your factory even further.

Cross-Planet Logistics

Of course, this means cross-planet production chains are in order. Utilize Transfer Rockets linked to Landing Pads to automatically ship items between planets in real time.

Power

Terra Mare also has its own power production. Start by building Current Turbines to get you off the ground. You'll need to periodically clean off the algae that grows on them, of course.

Then, move up to Thermal Generators. Place Thermal Scanners to locate thermal vents. Place Thermal Generators on the vents for endless power.

Resource Scanner

The new Resource Scanner will help find the deeper resources needed to progress through Mare's research tree.

Transport

Mk3 belts can now be crafted, unlocked in the Mare research tree.

Capstone Items

The next two capstone items are here as well, the Propellant Cell and Coolant System. These two additions will bring the total to four of eight total items needed to build the endgame rocket.

  • Reduced amount of credits earned on various items sold via Orbital Dispatcher

  • Removed the Belt Bridge in favor of a more natural approach

Planet 3, Terra Aether, is in the works. As a gaseous planet, this will bring new mechanics, new recipes, and the next two capstone items.
