Hello there!
It’s currently pre-release balancing time for the upcoming update, and I hope you’ve had some quality time for yourself as well. If not, Genetica is about to deliver some for you too!
The latest balancing session showed that the new role is working really well—and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The Hunters are finally here!
Who Are Hunters and Gatherers?
Your Turtles are now not only herbivores, but also representatives of the Gatherer role. Their main goal is, well, gathering. But those who gather… might get hunted by a more aggressive species, and that's just the nature of life.
At first, I thought the Buffalo was one of that kind of creature, but it turned out he was just playing around. Or was he? Actually, I’m talking about something far more predatory: the dedicated Hunters.
What’s So Special About Hunters?
They are built differently, and I mean that literally.
Hunters don’t just wander around. They have a clear purpose: to build a ziggurat lair. Why? So they can continue hunting, of course.
There’s also a neat detail about them, but you’ll have to play to discover it ːdemoneyeː_ːdemoneyeː.
The Triad of Powers in Genetica
With the Hunter role added, Genetica now has a complete triad of powers:
