changedIf you aren't familiar with the event, it's a showcase of games that primarily feature on ecological themes, in forms both aspirational and cautionary ( here's the 2025 edition ). It's an excellent event and we're very excited to have GenExile's 1.0 launch be a part of it!

Now to be sure, with the state of the industry being what it is and also... gestures broadly, it would be pretty disingenuous to claim that it's been easy for a small organisation like ours to swim against some pretty ferocious tides. But we'll talk about that more in the lead up to launch.

Today is about celebration and sharing on tremendous gratitude to every player who jumped aboard GenExile during its Early Access period. The collaboration and feedback resulting from that was invaluable in getting the game ready for a full 1.0 launch, especially for a small team like ours. Truly, thank you. We're very much looking forward to everyone seeing what those efforts have yielded in GenExile's 1.0 launch on Friday, April 17th!
