GearStorm - Armored Survival changes
This release brings GearStorm up-to-date with the latest Unreal Engine, gaining performance and stability improvements and enabling GearStorm to take advantage of newer features in the future like ray tracing. We are also packing in several improvements on our UI, additional weapons, and several bug fixes. This release also marks the beginning of our partnership with 4NETPlayers, our exclusive hosts of dedicated servers for GearStorm.
Simplified Server Hosting: ICG has partnered exclusively with 4NETPlayers server hosting service to make it easy and inexpensive to host your own GearStorm servers. 4NETPlayers has simplified the server configuration and startup to just a few clicks. Since GearStorm has so many features catering to the server admin, we are very excited to make it easy for our admins to Gamemaster their own dedicated servers in Europe and the US.
New versions of the arm blade were also added: We have added two new melee weapons with fire and electric effects.
A new option to set VSync was also added:
New "skillpoint indicator" was added to the inventory menu for our skillpoint progression system:
Numerous other bug fixes and performance enhancements are also in this release. We are fully committed to continuing to build our community that will help us make GearStorm the ultimate open-world survival combat simulator!
