WARNING: The keyboard binding function is currently an experimental feature. It may cause severe conflicts with your controller and or/keyboard, so use it cautiously. If you end up locking yourself out of keybinding due to changing the key that accesses it, close the game, open up your registry editor, and search for this path:

[c]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\MechWolf Productions\\Gastova[/c]

Delete all entries that start with "GastovaSaveData" and reboot the game.

Please exercise caution when utilizing this feature for now.

What comes next?

We'll be refining the newer features we just added and working on new solutions. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to implement everything we wanted, but we will try our best to have everything done by next week.

Currently, we're working on a new submenu in the pause menu called "Chronicles"

This new menu will help by providing the players with information and other tips without constantly interrupting their gameplay with tutorials popping up left and right. Whenever the Chronicles are updated with new info, a pop-up notification will appear, and you can decide whether or not to go check it out.

We are also reconsidering streamlining the method in which players utilize Staves and Grimoires with radial shortcuts, but we are afraid this change will not be welcome.

For example, this is the existing menu.

Steam post imageAnd this is what we propose: A new menu streamlined with Grimoires, accessed by swapping between menus:

A radial shortcut will also be added on controllers by using the right stick so you don't have to utilize the menu every time.

For keyboard players, all you have to do to access shortcuts is assign the numpad keys 1 to 4 to quickly access your staves. This is already a feature in the game if you press left shift and hit the 1 to 4 numbers on top of a staff icon in the selector.

That's it for now. We apologize if we couldn't fix everything right away, and we'll continue to provide patches over the next few weeks!

Stay safe, and until next time!
