Since opening the “Join the Gangs of Asia Playtest” button on Steam, the response has been incredible. We’re hugely grateful to everyone who signed up and showed interest in helping shape the future of the game.

Today, we’re excited to say it clearly:

The Gangs of Asia playtest is live right now.

If you requested access, you can jump in immediately via Steam. And if you haven’t yet, you can still request access and start playing as soon as you’re in.

This playtest is a major milestone for us. It’s our opportunity to put the game directly into your hands, gather real feedback on combat feel, balance, and multiplayer, and continue refining the unique blend of skill-based Kung Fu duels and fast, chaotic RTS gameplay that defines Gangs of Asia.

What’s included in the playtest:

  • 4 playable heroes, each with a distinct fighting style

  • 4 maps designed for brawls, turf wars, and boss fights

  • 20 game modifiers to twist the rules and keep matches unpredictable

  • 6 buildable and upgradable minions, from Sumos to Ninjas

  • 3 buildable constructions to control the battlefield

  • 12 purchasable special attacks for maximum mayhem

Whether you’re jumping into online multiplayer, split-screen chaos, co-op, or PvP, this playtest is designed to be easy to pick up, hard to master, and packed with wild, shareable moments.
