added—Highlights— In this update, we have worked very hard to bring several important changes to the game; the most important thing to mention would be the introduction of 10 more spots on the arcade leaderboard, which now has a total of 30 names.
addedI have added a special weapon to the Dark Falcon ship, which is exclusive to that ship, and it works the same as the one on the Firebird ship. When you use its preferred weapon (Laser), it deploys at full power when it causes considerable damage.
addedThe graphics options menu now has new sections where you can disable the retro display option, the RCT effect curve, and the RCT noise effect. In addition, you have a controller to customize the front display screen of the game.
addedIn the sound options menu, I have added a new sound controller just for controlling the volume of the player's and enemies' shots.
addedI have also added an identifier that appears during the game when enemies come out from hidden parts of the map; this gives you a strategic advantage in positioning your ship so that you are not run over by enemies. I still have quite a few enemies left that I would like to implement this warning system on. I have improved the mechanics related to the Visok-V17 enemy. Now, when it descends, it remains for a few seconds before ascending, giving you time to better visualize the message and maneuver away before the enemy passes over you. I have changed the main audio theme of the game to another one; I think it fits the game better. If anyone doesn't like it, please let me know. I have modified some graphic aspects of the game menu, as well as some special player objects. Finally, I would appreciate any comments, whatever they may be, to know what I can do to improve the game, as long as it is within my capabilities as a programmer and fits with the game. Special thanks to limelight1210 for their advice.
