changedExplorationExploration is a huge part of Geo 2. By exploring you find all manner of awesome, useful and frankly weird things. When you enter a galaxy (of which there are several) you will begin in the centre. You can explore in any direction you wish, there is no set path however the further from the centre you explore the more expensive it gets, the trade off being the further you go the greater the reward
addedExplorationThe map system is different from Geo 1. In Geo 1 you would pay to unlock small quadrants of space that would have some places to drill and other goodies to find. In Geo 2 the maps are significantly bigger, around 5 times bigger than the biggest map in Geo 1! The new map system is hand designed by me to allow for a much more balanced experience. As you progress through Geo 2 you will unlock new maps with even greater challenge and even better rewards.
addedImprovements and new stuff!Mini Map - You now have a mini map of the galaxy to help you move around, as the maps are quite large it is helpful to be able to see what you have found in the area. You can also move around via this mini map by clicking on the objects within it.
addedImprovements and new stuff!Crew Contracts - A returning feature but greatly improved. You will find crew contracts out in space. When you enter one you will be greeted by a potential new crew member to hire. they have a little story and a request. If you can obtain the objects they desire then they will come and work for you! Crew contracts are recorded and accessible from any map at any time once you have met the crew member so unlike Geo 1 you will not need to revist them in order to fulfil the request and grab a new crew member! Super useful.
addedImprovements and new stuff!Drill Hangars - A whole new feature in Geo 2. Dotted around the galaxies are drill hangars. The Hangar dude wants key cards and cash to open the hangar and for you to get the new drill component. Hidden around the galaxies are key cards. Collect the amount required and hand over the dosh and the new drill component is yours! Your drill is customizable and upgradable in Geo 2 and this is one of the ways you can obtain new parts to use and upgrade! (More on this system in another update)

Exploration

Exploration is a huge part of Geo 2. By exploring you find all manner of awesome, useful and frankly weird things. When you enter a galaxy (of which there are several) you will begin in the centre. The centre of the galaxy is generally more densely packed however the locations you can find further out will be far harder but considerably more valuable.

Exploring is super simple, click on a "?" square and right click it to uncover whats underneath (If you have the cash of course), if you are lucky enough to find something BIG it will clear the entire object of "?" squares!
