changedFurniture Assembler Simulator Demo update 0.5.0In previous demo versions, the furniture assembly process was as simple as clicking available markers one by one. It was a chill experience with no challenge at all.
changedFurniture Assembler Simulator Demo update 0.5.0But the original game idea was more chaotic than that. The plan was for players to search for the next part to place, like in real life. And many negative game reviews saying that the game is too simple only confirm that there should be more challenge.
addedFurniture Assembler Simulator Demo update 0.5.0This update is focused on adding some challenge to the assembly process.
addedManual parts placementFrom now on, it is not enough to click markers one by one and see furniture parts appear out of thin air. Instead, when a new order arrives, you will need to take all the parts from the cardboard, organize them around the assembly spot (the newspapers), and then put the parts in the right places manually.
changedManual parts placementTo find out which is the right part, you will see part names when hovering over a marker or a part. Also, clicking a marker will highlight compatible parts.
changedManual furniture rotationWith manual parts placement comes a need for greater control over furniture assembly. So auto-rotation was replaced by the ability to manually lift and rotate furniture in assembly mode.

Furniture Assembler Simulator Demo update 0.5.0
In previous demo versions, the furniture assembly process was as simple as clicking available markers one by one. It was a chill experience with no challenge at all.
But the original game idea was more chaotic than that. The plan was for players to search for the next part to place, like in real life. And many negative game reviews saying that the game is too simple only confirm that there should be more challenge.
This update is focused on adding some challenge to the assembly process.
Manual parts placement
From now on, it is not enough to click markers one by one and see furniture parts appear out of thin air. Instead, when a new order arrives, you will need to take all the parts from the cardboard, organize them around the assembly spot (the newspapers), and then put the parts in the right places manually.
To find out which is the right part, you will see part names when hovering over a marker or a part. Also, clicking a marker will highlight compatible parts.
Manual furniture rotation
With manual parts placement comes a need for greater control over furniture assembly. So auto-rotation was replaced by the ability to manually lift and rotate furniture in assembly mode.
Simplified demo goal
The previous demo update takes too long to complete, making it impossible to finish it in one go. To fix this, the demo will now start with most of the kitchen set assembled. It should take you around 30 minutes to complete the demo now.
