Fur and Fables changes
Greetings Heroes!
We’re excited to announce that Fur and Fables will be part of Steam Next Fest! This is a big moment for us, and we can’t wait for both longtime supporters and new comers to experience the latest version of Fur and Fables.
In this special demo, you'll get to try out new quests, explore Party Synergies, and join our new Endless mode! Plus, we’ll be sharing more about what’s coming in the full release.
It’s been amazing to see our game grow, and I can’t wait to hear what you all think. Fur and Fables is now localized in Chinese (Simplified), German, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian.
Welcome to all our new heroes! 🙌
What’s in the demo?
3 stages + full access to the Endless Mode!
6 character classes
Quests
A taste of the Party Synergies - just three in the demo
- Full localization to six languagesChinese (simplified), German, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian.
New Character: The Cleric
Today you’ll meet another newcomer to our unlikely bunch of adventurers: the Cleric! This rotund fellow might not look like much of an attacker, and that’s because, well, he isn’t. But as every RPG player knows - every party needs a support character to heal your tanks and protect the damage dealers! And if there’s one thing pigs are known for - it’s healing.
Attack The Cleric’s basic attack is a divine aura that damages enemies if they get too close. While very helpful in protecting the party, some keen-nosed adventurers have noticed that the aura smells a little pungent… Almost like a certain root vegetable… Eh, maybe the pig just ate too many onions. In any case, the aura does relatively low damage, but it’s constantly on, and it has the Lightning damage type, allowing you to zap everything that comes close to the party. Attack Size and Damage upgrades will really boost its efficiency, but extra projectiles and cooldown bonuses have no effect.
Spell and Weapon Evolution If there’s one thing Clerics are known for, it’s healing. Activating the Cleric’s spell will greatly boost your party’s healing for a few seconds, letting you survive long enough to regroup or saving that one character you really don’t want to lose. The evolved aura is bigger and better in every way - dealing more damage as well as having a life steal bonus for that extra healing.
Unlocking the Cleric The Cleric will be available on the game’s full release version in early April, together with lots of other extra content! You will need to complete a quest to be able to recruit Clerics. Once you have them in your party, they will unlock some new Synergy options too - so be sure to try out new formations!
More to come!
The full game will have all 8 character classes, including their weapon evolutions and spells.
10 playable stages with different biomes
More party synergies to discover and unlock, to match your personal play style!
More meta upgrades to help you on your journey
Catch you next time! ~Double Crow Games
