We are glad to bring you the first official update for FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the delay compared to the update schedule mentioned in the previous hotfix notice.

We had to review more parts of the game than expected, especially as we worked to clarify the core direction of the game.

With this update, FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor will be updated to version 0.2.1.

The main goal of update 0.2.1 is simple:

to make the identity of FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor clearer as a bullet heaven / tank survival game.

The main changes are as follows.

## 1. In-Game UI Changes

We have adjusted the in-game UI so that important information can be checked more quickly during combat.

The goal is to make the flow of battle, survival status, and weapon status easier to read than before.

## 2. Manual Aiming Removed and Auto Combat Policy Updated

Starting with this update, manual aiming has been removed.

Several weapons, including the main gun, now operate in a more automated way, allowing players to focus more on movement, survival, and positioning instead of complex aiming controls.

In particular, the main gun now automatically uses the appropriate attack depending on the type of enemy unit.

  • Anti-infantry main gun attacks against infantry and unarmored targets

  • Anti-armor main gun attacks against vehicles and armored targets

This change is not simply about reducing controls.

It is a decision made to make the bullet heaven-style combat flow that FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor aims for much clearer.

## 3. Stage System Added

We have adjusted the previous long frontline progression structure and introduced a stage system with clearer objectives.

From now on, each battle will have a shorter and clearer structure, where players survive, grow, and continue fighting within a set time limit for each stage.

## 4. Reduced Map Size and 10-Minute Survival Objective

In this update, we have reduced the map size and changed the combat objective to surviving for 10 minutes.

In the previous structure, the large map and long progression made the combat density and objective feel unclear.

In version 0.2.1, battles now take place in a smaller combat area, allowing players to engage enemies faster and feel the pressure of combat within a shorter period of time.

## 5. Card / Skill System Temporarily Disabled

In the current 0.2.1 version, the card and skill systems are temporarily disabled.

We are currently working on a major overhaul of the card and skill systems in FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor.

The existing crew system will remain, but we are redesigning the structure so that each card and skill feels much more impactful during combat.

The previous system offered many choices, but during actual gameplay, the differences between those choices did not always feel strong enough.

For that reason, in update 0.2.1, we are first reorganizing the basic combat structure and automated combat flow. The redesigned card / skill system will be added back in a future update.

This does not mean that the card and skill systems are being removed.

It is a temporary measure so that we can rebuild them in a better form.

---

This update is the first major step in reorganizing the direction of FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor.

There are still many areas that need improvement, and we will continue working on balance and content.

However, starting with update 0.2.1, we will keep refining the game to make its core fun clearer and provide a better gameplay experience.

Thank you very much to everyone playing the game.
