addedWhile the outpost’s walls have offered a measure of safety, a new threat now stirs in the depths of the Biting Sea. An ancient and immensely powerful artifact has begun sending visions of unrest, calling out to be found once more. Now, the heroes of Frosthaven must venture both above and below the sea’s dark, icy waters to secure the artifact before it falls into the wrong hands.
addedExpanding the world of Frosthaven with narrative centered on the mysterious Lurkers, Into the Abyss adds two playable heroes that bring fresh playstyles and tactical depth to party composition for players well into the game:
changed“Coral” channels the power of the sea, manipulating tides and battlefield positioning to control encounters and overwhelm enemies.
added2 New Playable Heroes : Unlock two new classes and introduce new strategies and synergies into your party.
addedNew Pet – Brummix : Complete your menagerie with the final and most difficult to obtain pet - Brummix. Only the most observant heroes will be able to find all the traces of this elusive creature!

Expanding the world of Frosthaven with narrative centered on the mysterious Lurkers, Into the Abyss adds two playable heroes that bring fresh playstyles and tactical depth to party composition for players well into the game:

  • “Coral” channels the power of the sea, manipulating tides and battlefield positioning to control encounters and overwhelm enemies.

  • “Kelp” lurks in the shadows and specializes in assassinating enemies, collecting trophies from their victims and using them to grow stronger.

  • New Notification System: Stay informed with updates on Outpost activity and events between quests.

  • Calendar System: Track upcoming and past gameplay and story events more easily.

  • Character Retirement Flow UpdatesImproved pacing to prevent interruptions during multiplayer sessions.

  • Blinkblade Card Layout Updates: Optional settings to reflect the original board game layout.

  • Advantage State Flow Update: Expanded descriptions and clarity during combat and modifier selection.

Features

  • 23 new quests with completion of the third major storyline.

  • Option for original Blinkblade card design.

  • Modifier ambiguity options added both for normal attacks and attacks with advantage.

  • Early experimental camera options in tactical.

  • Added the Calendar feature.

  • Added the notification system and the event log.

  • Added two new events: Summer road event 7 and Winter road event 33.

  • 9 new Town Hall challenges.

  • 2 new biomes.

  • 4 new Unique bosses.

  • Many new items and item interactions.

Major Fixes

  • Added Voice Over for all available events in game.

  • Fixed an Error when closing an inspect window with the Left mouse button.

  • Fixed more instances of desyncs when using the undo feature.

  • Improved the Quest info for a majority of the existing quests.

Minor Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where items that could change a drawn modifier were usable before drawing the said modifier and were potentially being wasted. The items targeted are glancing potion, precision potion, unfettered arm and truesight lenses. The Boneshaper perk “Tribute” has also been targeted by this fix.

  • Puzzle book “Show Spoilers” option fixed for all puzzles.

  • Fixed a visual issue with Winter Outpost Event 44.

  • Slider no longer overlaps with attack modifiers when inspecting any monster with picked cards.
