We’re looking for community soldier voices :)

We’re currently working on Frontline Fury, our WW2 top-down shooter, and had a slightly different idea for some of our generic soldiers.

Instead of filling every background soldier with professional voice actors, we thought: why not let the community voice some of them?

So we’re giving it a try. :)

You don’t need to be a professional voice actor.

We’re looking for simple battlefield stuff like:

• Dying / wounded sounds

• “Get to cover!”

• “Fire!”

• “Let’s go!”

• “Grenade!”

• “Reloading!”

• “Move! Move! Move!”

• Random battlefield shouting

• And of course… funny quotes that still somewhat fit the WW2 setting

Grab a (good) microphone, record a few lines and post them in our Discord.

If we like them and they fit, they might actually end up being shouted by some poor soldier in the game. :D

And yes, we could (and actually did) simply hire voice actors for all of this. We already work with professional audio where it makes sense. We just thought this could be a fun way to get the community involved and maybe immortalize a few of you on the battlefield.
