Fright Train changes
Here comes a massive demo update, just in time for this upcoming Next Fest! Once again, thank you for all your feedback and bug reports, whether on the discussion board, on our Discord server, or on our publisher's server.
Here are the changes and bug fixes in version 0.3.1 of the demo:
New Features
Added localizations for Spanish (LATAM), Ukrainian, Japanese, Italian, and German!
Added controller support! For the time being, only Xbox controllers are natively supported, but we'll look into adding more controllers for the full game.
Added key rebinds in the pause menu!
Doug can now blink and look at his PAW Pad when interacting with terminals.
Doug now fades away when the camera gets too close.
Running now consumes stamina.
The available discount is now displayed under the purchase price of exterior doors.
New UI for the inventory to make slot sizes more intuitive.
Added enemy knockback based on your gun.
You can now quick slot items you are holding.
Revamped the dialogue and subtitle systems.
More max framerate options added.
Frost visual effect added to storm enemies.
Widget now has a new comms room.
Bug Fixes
Enemies are now spawning inside navigable range.
Can no longer softlock by picking up a duffel bag while reloading.
The bullet trace detection won't collide with elements too close to the camera.
Fixed the bomber achievement.
Motorhead attack collision disabled when dead.
Zombies can no longer kill you after you win.
Outside collisions now work in packaged build.
Storage inventory input fix.
Several other minor fixes and QOL improvements.
