For those of you who have participated in the demo playtest, thank you again! Your feedback really helped us improve the game's onboarding and general flow. Of course, there are even more improvements and features planned for the full release, so we hope you'll be just as excited for it as we are :)

For those curious, here are the changes and additions included in the 0.2.2 demo version following the 0.1.9 playtest version:

NEW CONTENT

  • New car, Cargo 2, added to train generation.

  • Two new cosmetics to unlock.

  • New enemy, the Clam, can appear on door locks.

  • Changed the look of doors you can purchase: they now reflect their tier.

  • Updated the tutorial with gameplay videos, new doors, and a Clam.

  • Widget will now warn players of incoming storms.

  • Added a camera-shake multiplier setting to the options menu.

  • Reload speed now synced to ammo box stored locations. You can now also hold down the left-click to reload automatically.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS

  • Added more exit signs to the interior of cars.

  • Blowing up interior doors now free buys the price puck.

  • Can no longer blow up exterior doors.

  • Window shutter cost has been reduced to 75 and is now 4x quicker to close.

  • Adjusted the location of particle systems in interactable objects.

  • Updated the intro animation.

  • Changed the reload menu texture for chamber-fed guns.

  • Cosmetics can now hide parts of Doug's model.

  • Buff to food items.

  • Updated the French localization.

  • Enemy spawn system optimized.

  • Updated some sounds.

  • Reduced heavy kick charge time by 0.1 sec.

  • Cars no longer deteriorate after the run ends.

  • All HUD elements are now hidden when the run ends or when you game over.
