Dev Talk - 5/26

This one will be a bit shorter than usual, since I finally took a vacation on the memorial day weekend and did not work on the game that much. A few things though. Game delay.

addedI am debating on adding a PvP element to the game, basically 1v1 up to 4v4 with player either choosing their setup, or maybe inside the existing multiplayer game as a co-op event. This will be a pretty big change to how a lot of the game runs, so initially I decided against it for early access. However, the delay means I have a bit more time to think about this.

  1. Game delay. Unfortunately I have decided that the game is not up to my standard yet and have delayed the early access from late June to early August. This will give me more time to polish, receive feedback from the demo, and wait for the commissioned artwork to be finished. Also, this (hopefully) allows the game to be on the next fest, which should be interesting.

  2. I am still working on updating the demo, aiming to close off some bugs I have been tracking recently. I have spent a few days writing a good test suite that should catch these type of issues later.
