Freaked Fleapit changes
Heeeeeey Guests of the Fleapit~
Coming right at ya is yet another Fleapit devlog where we drag you kicking and screaming through the depths of development hell (or rather Inferno) and show all the exciting stuff (that we can show at this point in time)!
As per usual, the biggest bulk of the work we’ve been doing these last couple of months has been focused on behind-the-scenes stuff – but we’re making steady progress, pinky promise!!
That said, let’s dive into the nitty gritty, shall we?
UPKEEPING THE OLD STUFF
Turns out working on a game breeds… even more game. Thankfully, at this point we’re more that ever aware that polishing things into perfection isn’t exactly the way to go, but making additional touches here and there won’t hurt anybody.
Like, for example, here’s a new cute little sprite for Ruby’s speech during the opening cutscene:
of course its Ruby breaking the 4th wall, who else?

GLITCHES NO GLITCHING
One of the more requested things from the previous demo was to remove the visual glitches during dungeon crawling. So we did exactly that…and also added an option to have even more visual glitches, should you choose to do so.
For reference, we believe that the Full glitches option represents our vision for Fleapit’s chaotic visuals, but we don’t wanna ruin anyone’s personal experience, so feel free to turn them down!
warning: the slider doesn’t actually influence any of the gameplay glitches. . .
HOT DEMON LADY WITH NO CONTEXT
It’s that time of the year again! The Freaked Fleapit roster of characters is growing with its development and it’s always fun to just show you the concept arts with no context whatsoever.
Even though you don’t know her just yet, we know you’re gonna grow to love her… eventually~

Now, I’m not saying we’re working on one! I’m not even saying that we will ever be working on one. But hypothetically is this something of interest for you?

ok, seriously though, that’s just a new concept art that was made in time while i was writing this very devlog. Consider it a freebie for waiting extra long lol.
