Hello everyone, I hope you've had a wonderful month full of holidays!
I'll start out with the big news: We are rapidly approaching the end of development!
As per the tentative roadmap shared in the November devlog, this month has been filled with hard work from myself along with the Foxlore team! Puzzles have officially been completed and implementation & translation of dialogue is expected to be completed within the coming weeks. Exciting!
Given this news, you can expect a release date announcement in the next devlog! Now, here's a just a slice of what I've been working on over the past month.
Puzzles are done, you say?
Yup! While there will still be some refining to be done in the QA phase, puzzles are done! On top of this, it comes with new puzzle mechanics such as the ability to draw on puzzles!
Let There Be Light!
In addition to everything else, I've been hard at work creating and implementing a lighting system that improves the look of the game while still retaining the atmosphere.
In closing...
A lot of major announcements are right around the corner. I'm excited to share what we've made with you all, and I can honestly say that if this were a game I played, I would enjoy it.
