changedConquest update Conquest update brings a procedurally generated randomized map that changes the aspects of every battle. There are 6 battle types:
changedCustom commander : normal mode, select any commander you like Selected commander : you have to lead with pre-selected mercenary commander Hold the line : Defend your your position until reinforcements arrive Siege : Break through enemy fortified position Boss fight : Challenge legendary boss Chaos realm : all building plans are randomized (mixed builder)
changedAdditionally each conquest battle contains from 1 up-to 6 random map glyphs that can significantly affect battle. For example there is map glyph that doubles all units mana. Each of these glyphs also have 3 different ranks. Both allied and enemy army commanders are also randomized for every battle. 1.0 update
addedThis version of the game offers steady player progression. Every match rewards a new deck ability. Every victory on the conquest map rewards royal coins and expands the conquest map with new battle maps. Wide variety of both unit and deck abilities further extends exploration of the game. There is also an original story campaign. The game is also fully translated into 28 languages, allowing better experience for non-english reading players. Conquest update truly marks a point where even I, the developer, after countless thousands of hours of developing and testing can still enjoy a quick match. Original intention was to make this game multiplayer first however conquest map elevates singleplayer experience to a point where game can be fully enjoyed solo. You start your journey as a knight sent by his royal decree to inspect local villages. What should have been a routine task however turns into a darker turn. Ancient evil is rising in the shadows and soon it will be revealed. patchnotes + added procedural infinite randomly generated conquest map
