changedLoreWelcome to the ice planet Londrea, a cold, snowy, inhospitable planet completely devoid of life. Unified Earth Forces intelligence believes that beneath the unforgiving surface of the planet is an underground network of factories producing the enemy's warships. While your armor contains life-support systems that keep you warm and alive, traveling through the snow and ice will be extremely difficult on foot. We've authorized the use of a Tracked Utility Vehicle to help you get around. Gain a foothold on this planet so our troops can go hunting for enemy factories.
changedGameplay“Get in, loser!” This planet's unique twist is centered around driving the Tracked Utility Vehicle , a type of specialized truck that will be essential for getting around in the snow. Your walk speed on Londrea is significantly slower than normal; so slow, in fact, that enemies can easily catch up to you and damage you. Thankfully, you have the truck.
addedGameplayThe Tracked Utility Vehicle has a lot of great things going for it: it cannot be damaged by enemies, you can pick up resources while driving, and you can destroy enemies by simply running them over enough times. The moment you get in, you're safe. Do you know what it cannot do? Build. In order to build a base and accomplish your mission, you need to get out of your truck to build. Oh, and the base computer only works to unlock new defenses and facilities if you are actually standing on it.
addedGameplayI think this will lead to some new gameplay considerations as you decide when and where to get out of your truck. Will you spend most of your time driving in circles and running over enemies? Or will your assault rifle be working overtime as you trudge around slowly on foot?
changedGameplayAlso, since your walk speed is so slow, you'll need to put extra care into ensuring your base is well-built and can fight off enemies effectively. If one of those aliens breaches your wall, you are usually too slow to get away on foot.
changedWishlist Today! If this planet mission sounds fun, consider wishlisting the game to be notified when it is released on March 27, 2026! The price is expected to be $3.99, although the free demo will always be available to play.
