Forestress Shade changes
Today, I'd like to inform you that the game will be released soon and give you an overview of the release.
I've been involved in every aspect of development, from system programming to artwork and sound. The game took shape this past winter, and I've focused on production while gathering feedback from test players.
I'm truly grateful to all the debuggers who found countless bugs and to everyone who sent in warm support and feedback. I've created many games before, but it's the support of players that has allowed me to continue this far.
The platform is currently Windows, but we are also planning to implement Mac and Android versions.
Initially, I intended to release this game as a paid title, but after careful consideration, I've decided to release it for free. My goal is for you to play the game, not to sell it. There's an insurmountable barrier between paid and free games. I hope that everyone who shows interest in this game will play it out of pure curiosity.
We also plan to release a soundtrack alongside the game, but this will be a paid download. If you're drawn to the music, please check it out.
The game is already complete, but we're working on improving the game environment by adding effects, enhancing usability, and adding content to provide players with a better experience.
Currently, there are still many elements we want to add. We plan to release it as an early access title this summer, and then provide regular updates.
Please wait a little longer until the release.
