changedDear all, It has been a busy and intense week for us. V1.08 patch is progressing well. One of the major things we've implemented is an improved multiplayer mitigation system to deal with performance issues. Based on our previous sessions, there had been times where both the network traffic and the server machine performance can lead to the server itself thrashing - ie, < 1 fps, due to it being overwhelmed by work. We've also fixed a range of weird multiplayer issues and will soon deploy a staging build for V1.08 so that everyone can join and help test. However, please note that V1.08 will be significantly different from V1.07 in terms of gameplay experience. Ships will behave a little more like boats floating on the sea (V1.08) than vehicles on the road (like in V1.07). The focus will be on multiplayer, AI and to some extent - environment composition. (Yes, that'll come as well). To be realistic, AI is unlikely to reach its mark by V1.08 but it'll definitely be improved by then and also over the next few smaller patches. Thanks for your support as always! Will announce another update by the middle of the week. Regards, Jeremy
