Part of why I started making adult games is probably the same reason a lot of people think about making anything: because they look at what's available, and think "I don't like X, Y, and Z," and "I wish there were more A, B, and C." I personally want less violence, abuse, and highschoolers of conveniently-unstated ages.

But people like different things, and just because I don't personally like something doesn't mean I'd wish it banned! There are undoubtedly people who find Hushberry's games boring and basic (or still gross and offensive because they have penises in them). One person's garbage is another's treasure. Find what you want, and if you can't find it, make it!

Censorship is a narrow, short-sighted "solution" that doesn't change anything about the people being censored or banned; kicking people out just makes them angrier, more likely to group up elsewhere, and more likely to fight back.

Hushberry's games don't happen to have been affected by recent changes to what kind of content is and isn't allowed on Steam; they're probably seen as questionable, but acceptable... at least for now.

Whatever the future holds, I'll continue to make the kinds of games I want to make, and distribute them on the platforms that allow them.
