changedWe are excited to announce a major new update for FlyInside Flight Simulator! We’ve added a worldwide scenery streaming system, new scenarios, helicopter flight model enhancements, and plenty of bug fixes and performance improvements. The most striking difference you'll notice is brand-new, high-detail scenery. Our new scenery system is a complete overhaul of our old one -- we now use Bing Maps to stream imagery directly into the simulator, with a resolution of 1 ft/pixel. You will now be able to fly around the whole world instead of being limited to the US, and you will see detailed photoscenery instead of generic neighborhoods. Because we use a streaming system, you won’t need to worry about a huge download. The system requires an active internet connection, but just 2 mb/s should be fast enough for a smooth experience. If you have no internet connection, the simulator will use the old scenery system instead. In addition to the scenery overhaul, we have implemented all sorts of bug fixes, usability enhancements, and stability improvements. Despite looking better than ever, the simulator runs just as smoothly as before. Be sure to try out the improved helicopter flight models in the B407 and MD500, and learn to fly the T-38 with our new tutorial, featuring some cool flight maneuvers. Thanks, The FlyInside Team
