🧵 [Community Post] Flying Universe is 30% Off! Is this "1 vs 10,000" Shooter worth it?
Original Poster · Just Now
Hey Pilots,
Saw the yellow discount tag on Flying Universe. It’s a 2D pixel shooter with a Skill Tree and 9 Planet Bosses. The hook says enemies scale from a few dozen to 10,000 warships by the final stage. It's currently $5.59 / ¥26 during the Summer Sale.
I’m a big fan of Vs. Zombies -style games where you build up a crazy loadout and clear the whole screen. Is this one actually good, or just another asset flip?

Worth it at that price. Think of it as a space-themed "Bullet Heaven." The skill tree isn't massive, but there are enough nodes to make "Black Hole + Chain Lightning" builds feel absolutely broken by mid-game.

The scaling is real. First few stages are easy, but once you hit Stage 30+, the screen is literally filled with red pixels. Your PC might be fine, but your eyes will need a break.
Pro tip: Save some skill points for the Neptune Boss. His gravity pull is brutal if you don't have a mobility upgrade.

If you liked Vs. Zombies, you'll like this. It's more of a linear progression than a roguelite—you keep your skill points between runs.
The"1 vs 10,000" claim isn't clickbait; the final stage is basically just holding down the fire button and watching the numbers go up while everything dies. Very satisfying.

Just don't expect deep storytelling. It's pure gameplay. Also, the 9 bosses actually have different patterns. The Jupiter boss spawns mini-ships constantly, so you need AOE. The Venus boss has a laser rotation, so you need kiting skills. Good variety.

@#2 @#4 Thanks! $5.59 for a screen-clearing space rampage sounds like a steal. Bought. Any recommended starter build? I want to see those 10,000 ships disappear.

@OP Start with Magazine Capacity -> Homing Lv2 -> AOE Radius. You'll melt the early crowds. Don't worry about resetting skills; it’s cheap. Once you hit the bosses, respec into single-target damage if you're struggling. Have fun, Pilot! 🚀
💡 Notes for you:
Terminology: I used"Bullet Heaven" (the opposite of Bullet Hell) because Western audiences often use this to describe games like Vampire Survivors or 20 Minutes Till Dawn. It fits your "1v10000" description perfectly.
Humor: The forum post uses typical Steam community humor ("asset flip," "numbers go up").
Clarity: I emphasized the Skill Tree and Scaling, which are your biggest selling points compared to generic shooters.
Do you want me to also draft the Short Description (the ~200 characters under the game title on the store page) or the About This Game section next?
