Flux Tower Defense is OUT NOW

After three years of solo development, Flux Tower Defense launches today on Steam. Grid-based TD with no fluff: place towers, block paths, watch enemies reroute, level up rolls that change how everything works.

What's in the box

  • 20 towers, 8 traps — each rolls a random attribute at Lv 5 (LAVA burn, GLACIER freeze, ELECTRIC chain, STEEL crit). Same tower plays four ways.

  • 30+ enemy species — Mole burrows past defenses, Splitter spawns on death, Priest heals, Phaser phases. Every species has a boss variant.

  • Endless waves — boss-evolve roll climbs from 0.1% at wave 5 to 10% by wave 55. Late runs are a mini-boss parade.

  • 10 elite modifiers — shield, regen, dodge, EMP-on-death, slow-immune. Recolor every wave.

  • 20 achievements — 4 hidden. Steam Leaderboards. Steam Cloud sync.

  • 15 languages — EN, KO, JA, 简中, 繁中, DE, ES, ES-LA, FR, HU, NL, PT, PT-BR, RU, VI. Full UI + achievements + Rich Presence translated.

  • In-game Bestiary — codex unlocks as you encounter enemies. Effect chips, keyword highlighting.

  • Damage meter — see which tower is actually carrying. Sell the dead weight.

Design philosophy

No image assets. Every entity is rendered with Canvas 2D — sharp, fast, scales clean. Dark slate background, neon accents, readable at a glance. Designed to look at home next to Into The Breach and Mindustry, not your phone's free TD. Walls auto-tile into fortifications. Portal pulses with rotating triangles when a wave starts. Fortress visibly degrades — shields strip, color shifts teal → yellow → red — as life drops.
