Flock Around changes
There's a new item that can be found at the Bluff's shop.
This way you can take photos of your cool outfits, snap a picture of a bird on your head, and take selfies with friends!
Linux Native Build
We have an official Native Linux build!
Hopefully this means a better, more stable experience for Steam Deck(*) and Linux Desktop players!
(*) Steam Deck seems to only see the Proton (Windows) build still, we might need Valve to re-evaluate the game to get the Linux build showing up on Deck. We'll be asking them to re-evaulate soon because we're hoping to get Deck Verified! Steam Deck / Big Picture Mode Improvements
When entering a lobby code, the game will open the Steam Keyboard automatically
You can now use Text Chat in Steam Deck by pressing D-Pad Left (this can be rebound), this will open the Steam Keyboard to type your message.
The Third Person Mode keybind now has a default binding of Top Face Button (Y on XBox, Triangle on PlayStation, X on Switch)
Text Chat now has a default binding to D-Pad Right
The Push To Talk button now has a default binding of D-Pad Left
Bug Fixes
Cleaned up the third person camera system, lots of third person bugs (poop not showing up on yourself, weird stuff with crouching animations, etc.) have all been fixed!
Fixed bug that prevented you from scrolling text chat while holding a whistle
Misc Changes
Black Chinned Hummingbird now perches in trees, so you shouldn't need to rely on seeds to get perched shots (our bad!)
Copy to Clipboard buttons in the Develop-o-tron UI and in Camera Roll UI are now hidden on Linux, these buttons don't work on Linux anyway (sorry Linux users! I'll try to work something out)
Previously birds perching on your head would always land on the same spot. Now the spot they choose is based on your hat cosmetic!
Lobby codes are now forced to uppercase, so if you typed [c]e1gb531q[/c] it will be interpreted as [c]E1GB531Q[/c]
Fixed some rock collision and holes in the map.
