Fleet Hunters & Steam Deck: Ready from the Start

I’m a solo indie developer, and the Steam Deck is one of my favorite ways to play games.

That made Steam Deck support an easy decision for Fleet Hunters. From the beginning, I wanted the game to feel natural not only on a desktop PC, but also as a handheld game you can pick up, play for a few quick matches, and put down again.

The Fleet Hunters demo is available now on Steam, and it is already playable on Steam Deck.

Fleet Hunters is a fast, grid-based naval duel built around real-time action. Because the matches are quick, the controls are simple, and the interface is clean and readable, it felt like a very natural fit for the Deck.

The full version of Fleet Hunters is planned for release in 2026, and Steam Deck support will continue to be part of the game as development moves forward.
