Introducing the Training Update! This update focusses on teaching new players the ropes before plunging them head first into the fray. We also have many improvement for controller play, UI and 5 new levels!

Key new features

  • New tutorial section - Always on tutorial teaches as you play.

  • 5 New Levels

  • Completely rewritten starting sequence - Add, Remove, and Relocate firefighters, the gurney and firetruck before play begins.

  • Tactical View - Get an overall view of the scenario. Use it to check out your situation or play your whole game that way. Toggle with Tab or click either joystick on your gamepad.

  • Improved Controller Play - Playing with the controller should feel smoother now, with less cursor snapping and better camera control.

  • Debrief stats - Find out how far you ran, how many walls you destroyed, how many times you found false alarms, and many more scenario stats.

  • Added new tutorial section, the tutorial is always on and tutorial topics will only show once. The tutorial can be reset and disabled in Options menu.

  • Added 5 new levels - 4 Suburban and 1 Urban house

  • Added optional tactical view, toggle with Tab or click the joysticks on your gamepad

  • Added more variations to survivors

  • Added action tooltip inside Action Radial

  • Added damage preview when hovering over Chop Actions in the Action Radial

  • Added Debrief Stats

  • Added Input Compass, a unified display of available actions at the bottom-right of the screen

  • Added feedback when selecting an Action Radial Item

  • Added highlight to the quadrant the cursor is in

  • Added removal mechanism to False Alarms so they don't clutter up the level

  • Added recentering on current fighter when B is pressed on the controller

  • Rewritten start sequence from scratch

  • Improved controller experience in gameplay and UI navigation

  • Improved choice clarity when treating and dragging when multiple targets are in the current cell

  • Improved voice gender selection - Any firefighter with a helmet can be male or female

  • Improved messaging on unavailable actions, explaining why they aren't available

  • Improved firefighter visibility on night scenarios

  • Improved difficulty of Training Levels on Recruit difficulty

  • Changed the retire button to show the Retire Dialog instead of ending the game immediately

  • Improved existing scenarios to have more varied times of day

  • Several performance enhancements

  • Fixed gurneys behaving strangely in smaller scenarios

  • Fixed occasional crashes after actions are executed

  • Fixed Auto-End Turn not executing when the Action Radial is open

  • Fixed Priorities achievement being awarded on scenario loss

  • Fixed Perfect Day and Ridalong not being achieved under certain conditions

  • Fixed game interactions happening while pause menu is open

  • Fixed orbiting camera hiding the second roll of the deck gun with the Operator

  • Fixed UI layout in 4K

  • Fixed Free AP remaining highlighted when previewing non-free actions

  • Several level tweaks

  • Several minor bug fixes
